A Bit About Chris

Chris is a Licensed Masters Social Worker who got his education at Kansas State University in 2019. Since then, he has work experience in working with child welfare, community mental health, and as a school social worker.

His passion is being able to truly connect with his clients in a safe environment to allow them to feel trust in the therapeutic relationship. He is a very laid back empathetic listener and enjoys using humor whenever possible to connect with his clients and to make them more comfortable. With his many years of experience Chris has excelled in areas of focus like anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, trauma, foster care, ADHD, school issues, self esteem issues, confidence, boundaries, and LGBTQ+ affirming. He also loves using modalities such as strength based perspective, solution focused brief therapy, CBT and mindfulness in his sessions to help guide his clients to have successful coping skills.

Chris understands the importance of having meaningful connections with others and being a productive member of society. He believes that the motto of ” it takes a village” mentally means that being involved in things in the community that matches your strengths and interests are very important.

His hobbies outside of work are spending time with his family, especially his two children, listening to all types of music, and playing and watching sports, so be sure to look for him coaching a local basketball team in the area!
